Complete Count Committee

What is a Complete Count Committee?

A Complete Count Committee is comprised of a broad spectrum of government and community leaders who are trusted voices and partners from organizations like:

  • Schools
  • Government agencies
  • Faith-based communities
  • Non-profits
  • Businesses

The purpose of the Complete Count Committee is to provide leadership and guidance in developing key strategies to ensure an accurate 2020 Census count. Most importantly, the Complete Count Committee helps promote awareness and campaigns for the Census from now through October 2020.

About the Marin Complete Count Committee

To help make sure that everyone is counted in the 2020 Census, we've established the Marin Complete Count Committee (Marin CCC) to plan and coordinate outreach efforts across all of Marin County, while focusing on our hard-to-count communities. The Marin CCC is a regional multi-jurisdiction stakeholder group who works collaboratively to maximize participation in the 2020 Census,  promotes Census jobs, and effectively communicates with you about all things Census.

Subcommittees

To help distribute Census update and develop strategies for outreach to specific hard-to-count communities. Each subcommittee consists of the following:

  • A “lead” or “chair” of the subcommittee
    • This person will play a lead role in coordinating regular meetings of the subcommittee
    • This person will help facilitate discussion among subcommittee members during meetings
  • Subcommittee members
    • The subcommittee will be an inclusive group. Subcommittee members include individuals  who have expertise, influence, and experience in their hard-to-count community.

The Marin CCC has created the following subcommittees:

  • San Rafael
  • Marin City
  • Novato
  • West Marin
